When I saw Lauren meticulously painting little mustaches on all her fingernails, I knew exactly what to knit her for Christmas. Duplicate stitched the Snidely Whiplash mustache. Followed directions for the piquant version, only change was to make the top hem a little deeper in hopes of covering up all the duplicate stitch (failed by about 1/4 inch but it’s ok).
Yarn really really softened upon blocking!
