The recent tragic events at the Boston Marathon have prompted many small businesses to donate portions of their sales to The One Fund Boston, which was set up to benefit victims of the bombing. Dirty Water DyeWorks www.DirtyWaterDyeWorks.com has created two, exclusive colorways (Boston and Strong) representing the Boston Marathon colors. The yarn is Lillian, a gorgeous 100% Superwash Merino, and they are donating proceeds from the yarn sales to The One Fund Boston. In this same American spirit, I created the Boston Strong hat pattern and will donate all proceeds from sales of it, as well. I haven’t finished knitting mine, yet---picture coming soon!
