The first time I knit it, it was too big, so I ripped it out and knit it again with the same yarn. Then it was too small. I increased some stitches before knitting the earflaps and tried it on my boy before sewing the top together, and it wasn’t going to work. Then I picked up stitches and closed it shut like a regular hat and added all the cute extras. He loves it and wears it all the time.
