1-11-15 = Our Daughter was born on January 8, 2015 at a whopping 9 lbs 1 oz. This dress fit her perfectly, I could of made it longer, but all my other kids were only 7.5lbs. or less. We are very overjoyed, I hope you enjoy her picture in the hand knitted dress!

Just found out we are having a DAUGHTER! after 3 boys, this is going to be a change!

9/3/2014 = Just ordered the yarn and needles! (all of my needles are still in Texas!)

9/8/14 = Yarn is in. I don’t have my ball winder here, So I balled all 450 yards by hand. FUN… not really. But it is done, so no tangled yarn in the future. Cant wait to get started on this project!

9/10/14 = Started the project today. Knitting lace with a two year old is quite challenging. But I managed to get to row 22. We will see what the future holds.

10/08/14 = I’m going to do a couple more rows of seed stitch and bind off. Sam (my 2 year old) kept jumping on me and kids talking to me while doing the lace. Started getting lost in the pattern so I’m modifying it and binding off. Lace is very hard to do with distractions. I stopped the lace pattern after row 14 and switched to seed stitch, will do that for a total of about 9 rows then bind off.
