Doing another one cause I like the first one soooo much.
I hope this works just as well as the blue one … kinda concerned that the white isn’t as drapy as the blue? I might have to abuse this one more to bring out the softness and drape?
There are also mods I want to incorporate into this one that were things I wish I’d have done on the blue one.
Self test knitting I suppose:-)
July 30th 10 days later…
Oh Poop! More frogging! I was knitting the back lace part with the wrong friggin’ needles! Should have been using 3mm but NO…3.25s? Started over…I had 7 inches done and realized it was too big! Honestly I am getting tired of all this ripping this year! (And I am amazed how big a difference 1/4mm can make?)
Taking this to Vegas tomorrow… I do need something to kill time in airports.
Aug 17th
This is coming along nicely and I am now working on the St, st. part. I’ve got about another 8 inches to go to the hem….This is the long and boring part!
Aug. 29th.
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round….
I underestimated the number of inches left to knit… it’s 18 inches from the under arm to the hem… I just measured the length on the other Charlene last night and I still have a ways to go it seems:-)
…and round and round, round and round, round……
October 7th: I am down to the final rounds of the hem! Got the beads on last night and need to knit 6 to 8 more rounds and hem it under:-)
All that is left to do is to crochet around the arm holes and neck and add a few beads to the neck:-)
YEAH!!
