A simple pattern with some added features like I-cord CO, BO and edges. (All done at the same time as the body of the scarf!:-)
There has been some conversation as to if cables would work well with this cashmere and I thought I would try it out and see. These are not dramatic cables and they don’t pop much to start with so I thought they would be appropriate for the task at hand!
So far, I like the look:-)
I’ve written up the pattern, if anyone is interested in testing it out for me, I would really appreciate the help! Pm me with your email addy if you would like to give it a whirl! Any yarn weight would do.
Picture shows 15 out of 20 pattern rows.
So far, 15 rows plus the I-cord cast on = 10 grams used and is 2 3/4”h x 8 1/2”w
I should be able to make this 41 1/2” long or better. (That is working on a 150 gram cone and this is 187…now 177. I-cord CO ate a bit of yarn too!) Hoping for closer to 60”.
1 pattern repeat and cast on 14 grams.

evieandlily has kindly offered to test knit this scarf for me! :-)
I am saving this project for my trip to Vegas next week so progress appears to be slow. It’s not slow… it’s on hold! I just wanted to get the first repeat of the pattern in so I would be clear as to what I am doing. It’s pretty simple and being aran weight, it’ll take no time at all!

OK, I lied! I needed something to knit while I was waiting for my Clasica sweater fronts to dry! More than 1/2 way done as this is a very quick knit and am now in need of another travel project!!! (This yarn being so soft and cozy doesn’t help either!! Can’t seem to put it down?)

I decided while knitting this that I have enough for a nice size scarf and a pair of matching fingerless mittens if I stop knitting! So that is what I did. The scarf in done and in a bath right now and one mitt is 3/4 of the way done. (Must do the other one asap or I’ll get the 2nd sock syndrome thing! :)
Name…It needs a pattern name!???
#Hexanna ?
That suits it better:-)
