There is a lot of talk about Japanese books and stitch patterns again so I dragged mine out and started this pretty shawl in a very very soft lovely colour cashmere! (It’s a very soft heathered green/blue:-)

April 17th

Ok, it’s tricky because my stitch count versus row counts didn’t work… I fixed that and now it’s going along swimmingly:-) 12 stitches and 24 rows works SO much better than 12 stitches and 28 rows!!!! Darn that math…

Smooth sailing now:-)

Edging:

The chart shown in the last picture is the “simple edging”!

I am also working on a “knit on edging” to give people a choice on how they want to finish off the shawl. I know that I am over complicating my life by doing so but it is interesting!

May 16th

In the home stretch of my edging, I am doing the “Knit on Edging” for mine. Looks good for finishing before the 20th! :-)

I knit 6 repeats the one more with the transition, so 7 in total.

Weight: 128 grams. (22 left over so I don’t think I had enough for more repeats.)
