Decided I needed to make another one of these cute little sweaters in a more sproingy yarn. It’s a little large gauge-wise but knitting a smallest size should do the trick.

I love the shaping of this pattern… it would make a lovely little dress too! (But I am just making a sweater.)

So, I cast on for the smallest size and knitting length for the 12month size and it’s working out just fine. For the sleeves, I decreased every 7th row (Instead of 6th) to make up some length. Looks about perfect! :-)

Still having trouble making the collar lay flat but the hem is flipping up too so I can’t really say anything about that till after it’s had it’s hot bubble bath.

After washing:

That darn collar is still not wanting to lay flat and it seems that I will have to run an elastic around the neck edge too. Luckily there is a hem and that makes this task really easy but it takes away from the lovely squared neckline. :-(

My measurements are perfect for the 12 month size though. No problems there.
