Notes

I love Mozart! So I started this cowl - because - you can just never have too many projects on needles… (sigh)

Here’s the sample knit up by Debsnm

The design (treble clef sign) is subtle, yes, but I think it’ll pop better with a lighter color. The good news is that the cowl I’ve just test knit only used one skein of yarn! Of course - Frog Tree is closer to an aran weight yarn, plus I used US Size 7 needles.

The bass clef is with Mission Falls - a truer worsted weight - much thicker than the Frog Tree. I knit that with size 8 needles and started the second skein around row 34 or so. I also cast off using a size 10 needle rather than the other end of my US Size 8 circulars.

Pattern is now available to purchase via Ravelry on-line. For new pattern updates and progress reports (such as a need for test knitters, new postings, etc.) follow my blog at: http://itinerantknitter.blogspot.com/
