Notes

The instructions say you can get one pair from one skein. I was able to get two set and almost a third set (pair). Short of the last two rows (not including the bind-off row).

I also adapted the pattern and use a size 13 circular needle using the magic loop method. I found it easier to create them using circular needles than double pointed needles. The stitch and amount of yarn used seem to work better for me; too many stitches would end up on one needle when doing the cable stitch and I would have to redistribute (divide) the stitches evenly as possible among the double pointed needles. It did create problems for me personally as a left hand knitter. It might be different for someone else but making note of it may help someone else to avoid the same problems I had. If it were not for this small time-consuming problem, I would rate this as an easy knit but since it also includes cable knitting, it should still be a more than one star. I could have easily gotten them done in a day but being a single mom, I had to put it down from time to time to take care of other things.
