I started the hat at the beginning of September first in Ireland to honor the Hedgehog Fibers KAL but as usual for me with hats I need to start it over as it is too small.

I knitted it first on 5mm needles with 112 sts and it was too loose and too large. Then I tried the twisted rib of Windchief on 4mm needles and 104 sts and it was too small and I also decided I prefer this yarn in the Stromming stitch pattern so I started it again on needle 4mm and 104 stitches.

When I finished the brim I realised 104 sts is not a size in the pattern so I made it a beanie. Kept knitting in the brim pattern to length to an end of the pattern repeat.

Decreases: One row 13 decreases - k2tog the lase purl and the first knit of each pattern repeat, one row knit in pattern all over until I had 52 sts then I did k2tog all sts twice. 13 sts left I slipped them on the thread and pulled.
