Sept. 17 - Picking up stitches is not what I thought it would be. Had to restart this section 3 times before I got it right.

Main part to remember is you have to pickup 150 stitches. Meaing you need 150 ridges in order to do that. I found this out the hard way. Redoing 3 xs before I got it right.

Finally ended up picking up 146 stitches - missed 4 of them somewhere.

The Trim is 9 inches wide.

Sept 18 - starting on stockenette stitches early AM, by 2pm had 2.5 inches done.

Sept 21 - 5.5 inches are done. Still on the first set of yarn balls held double (478 x 2 yds).

Oct 3 - 15.5 inches long. Going to finish the 3rd ball doubled. It should be about 20 inches long when complete. Can’t wait to finish it, it is getting cold in NYC.
