Each skein made two hats, one adult size, and one child size. I knit on double points, because I don’t have a circular in that size.

The video for doing the kitchener bind-off is great, but is missing the beginning step, which is to start with purl onto front needle, leave the yarn on, knit onto back needle, but leave the yarn on. From there proceed exactly as the video directs! With this bulky yarn, leaving off that first set-up step probably doesn’t really matter!

Hats were labeled, boxed and mailed to the Reston VA address on Jan 4.

Three additional hats knitted for the local march. One for Katherine, one for Beth, and one for me. I found the yarn in a bin at JoAnn’s for $5 for a bag with two balls.
