Notes

I used the skein of yarn that I had hoped to use for the second half of my second Haruni, but the color didn’t match. This was my second attempt at a Traveling Woman shawl, and I’m very happy with how this one turned out. The first one had issues with color-pooling, and the bind off was much too tight.

This time, I substituted a crochet cast off for the final knit row. I crocheted the first three (edge stitches) together, then chained three and crocheted two stitches together for the groups of yarn overs and k2 or ssk’s. For the center part of each lace section, I single crocheted and cast off each stitch. For the center part of each wedge tip, I crocheted three together with a single crochet/castoff stitch.

I now have to refrain from buying anymore green yarn! I think this is my fourth green shawl in two years!
