Making a handbag in tunisian crochet (1st time in tunisian…Whooohooo), which is inspired by the bag I just bought while visiting family in Utah.

This view shows the front of the bag with side gussets attached. The back will be a duplicate of the front. I think I’ll change the colors of the horses but the top striping will be the same. I’m going to line the bag with western themed cotton yardage. I’m thinking a zipper closure and some pretty handles in leather.

Worked in Tunisian Simple Stitch. I then cross stitched the horses. I lined the bag with a western motif fabric and attached handles from JoAnns.

The bag is 20” wide and 14” tall.
