Notes

Got stitch gauge, but row gauge is short. Shouldn’t be that big of a deal, just need to keep track of rows. My first actual garment for myself :) Very excited!

Mods The only thing I changed was I added 4 extra rows on each sleeve, and I am glad I did, as they would have been a little too short for my liking.

3/6: Everything is seamed, and all edges have icord bind off. I have a little less than 1 skein of the CC left, and just over 1 skein of the MC left. Not too shabby. Now to seam in the gazillion ends, and then do a light steam block to stop the edges from curling (damn acrylic, lol). Also, definitely never buying this stuff again. The colors are nice, but too many knots for my taste. I have to give a shout out to the designer for her quick response in helping me figure out the collar instructions. Pictures once all is said and done!

3/5: finished second sleeve, now to start putting everything together!!

3/4: I am halfway done with the second sleeve, and am so close to finishing I can almost taste it!

2/23: Cast on for first sleeve last night. I can’t wait for them to be done so I can finally start finishing this project!

2/13: so I haven’t worked on this in ages…school and life just kinda took front seat, but I am almost finished with the right front piece, and then all that’s left is sleeves, seaming, and the border. I can’t wait to finish this, and look forward to wearing it this spring!

11/24: knot tally…3 in MC and 2 in CC. Only used 4 skeins so far. So annoying.

11/14: ok, so I lied. I cast on for left front today. However imagine how irritated I was to find a second knot in the second skein of my MC. The amount of ends I’ll need to weave in is going to make me cry, lol. In other news, I didn’t need to watch the video for the cast on again; I was able to do it from memory…yay! ;)

11/13: finished right front, and pinned the pieces so I could take pictures. I might not get to cast on the left front until next week since school is getting hectic.

10/28: Cast on the right front today in preparation of Hurricane Sandy…I haven’t memorized how to do the invisible provisional cast on yet, and know I would have needed internet to find a video to help me ;) Who knows, I might get most of it finished tomorrow, since I don’t have school…granted if the power stays on I should do schoolwork, but we’ll play it by ear ;)
…later that night, started the second skein of the main color, and have encountered yet ANOTHER knot. Unless you enjoy weaving in many ends, STAY AWAY from this yarn!

10/25: almost finished with the back, and I encountered my first knot in the purple. 2 skeins, two knots…this isn’t boding well. I really should have learned my lesson from the last time I used this yarn, but I was hoping it was a fluke…later that night…and I’m done with the back! I’m loving how fast this knits up…I’m a sucker for stockinette :)

10/22: I like this yarn, but hate that there are knots in the skeins…tally so far is 1 knot, and not even halfway done with the back piece…
