Notes

Lindsay asked me to test-knit her pattern, which is why I got a head-start on the KAL.
Well, another very enjoyable project from KnitEcoChic.
The picot cast-on was a first for me, but I like to learn something new with a new pattern (yes, even after 30+ years knitting I still have a lot to learn!).
The actual pattern repeat of 8 rows is easy to memorise after a while and I found myself knitting this project in the car (as a passenger of course!) and out and about without needing the pattern. The yarn-overs follow on logically in each row and the slip stitches cleverly undulate as you progress.
I made the largest size, which used 1 and 3/4 skeins of DK linen.
I chose not to use beads, but it looks lovely with beads too.
I will try to post some photos of the cowl actually being worn when we get decent weather for a photo shoot.
