4 September 2013 So far a very enjoyable knit. Have increased the number of repeats as using a dk yarn and am adding some repeats of chart B in the middle to extend the length for the same reason. Nearly half way through. I have slipped (purl wise) the first stitch of each row and this has given a lovely neat edge.

I took a bit of a risk I think using this yarn - it’s a cheap yarn compared to many of the yarns used by other knitters in this project. However I have been really surprised by how much I like it and am already considering further Guernsey Wraps using the same yarn in other colours. And other projects as well.

Finished some time in October 2013. It was a long haul but a pleasing result, especially with the yarn. It’s not the softest scrummiest yarn in the world but the stitches are lovely and it will keep me warm.

The slipping of the first stitch has made a really lovely and neat edge to the wrap.
