20120213 - Really considering frogging this and reusing the yarn for another pattern. This pattern is lovely, and it looks great…just don’t like the way that it looks on me, and I really want these colors to be a nice shawl or cardigan for work…and right now, it is not working. I am very disappointed. :(
20120205 - Blocking my first shawl after letting it soak all night! It was easier than I expected. My only disappointment is that I forgot to take a picture of it unblocked. It was so small, and now it looks like it will really fit me better! Also, gonna need more blocking pad from KP.
I love the colors, but not sure if I like how it looks on me. :(
201200204 - Loved this bind off! Kitchener stitch for the first time too! Now just to weave in the ends and block. :)
20100131 - Started the first row of the lace border tonight…the end is in sight!
20120130 - Finally to the first change in the pattern, now increasing every other row…loving it still so far, but goodness the purl rows are getting LONG!
Finished up this evening with the yo rows. Finished one skein of the KP Basalt Heather, used a braided join, and it looks pretty good…not sure if I like it better than the russian join or not…
20120124 - Cannot say how much I LOVE this yarn combination! I think that I have found the perfect pattern for this shawl, I’m hoping that I enjoy wearing it as much as I’m enjoying making it! This color combination will be just perfect for work, though Grandma would tell me that I needed more colors!
20120123 - I am loving this yarn combination, for colors. It is a bit rougher, though probably not fair to compare to the yarn I was most recently using…Malabrigo Silky! I’m sure it will soften up nicely when it is washed.
20120122 - Cast on this evening. Used Winding Provisional cast on. Work 8 rows so far, and liking the look much better than Strands of Pearls attempt.
Plan to pair this with KP Stroll Sock Basalt Heather…ordered 20120115.
