I made some modifications to make the lace part symmetric, to make it fit me better (thinner and shorter), and to make the sleeves start higher up at a normal place under the armpits to eliminate the “wing” effect when you spread your arms out. The modification to the sleeves also turned them into capsleeves, but if I had wanted them to be longer, I could have just knit more than just the bottom edging before attaching them to the body. When I first blocked it, it grew to be huge and just looked big and boxy on me. I was even thinking of frogging it but read on the comments for the yarn that it shrinks after washing and drying in the machine, so I washed it the other day in the washing machine and let it tumble dry for a bit before taking it out and drying it flat the rest of the way, and it’s back to the way it should be. I’m so glad that fixed the problem!

However, over time the cotton grew again. This isn’t good yarn for garments…

(Since I took the pictures in a mirror, I flipped them so they’re not inverted. The button strip just looked a little weird the other way around. lol)
