Notes

So excited to try my first shot at weaving! Using the full 10”, DIC Everlasting Sock for the warp, Malabrigo Lace for the weft. Started at 90” in length, but managed to mess up after cutting the loops, so it will probably end up shorter.

So far, this is super fun. I’m seeing that the weft color has strong presence.

I’m only 3-4” in , and I’m loving it so far! My edges are a little wonky, but I don’t even care. I can see this getting very addicting.

Hooray for my first woven scarf! This actually turned out really lovely.

The length is a little short, and the fabric is a bit stiffer than I’d like, even after blocking (I wonder if there’s away to fix this in the future), but all in all, it turned out SO great for my first attempt!

I even tried the fancy twisty tassels, and I’m super please with them as well.

This will definitely be fall/spring accessory, so I’ll have to make an effort to remember to wear it, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.
