Adorable pattern! I used the cable needle-free “twist stitch” method to do all the cabling, so it went pretty fast. One tiny error in the pattern (missing a K2 in two lines of the cable hem pattern) has been communicated to the designer. For a paid pattern, I would have liked more pictures included, but other than that, the pattern was well-written.

The front vertical edges of the cardigan roll inward, so you can’t see the cable edging. Not sure if that’s something I did wrong…. This is my first knitted sweater, so I just don’t know.

I chose cheap yarn, and I can already tell that I’m going to regret it! But I hate spending too much on yarn when I knit/crochet for kids…. The second I do, the hat/sweater/whatever won’t make it back home! :)
