Oof, the first mitt turned out way too small. Even when I went up to a size 2 needle, my colorwork tension was all wrong! Around the wrist, I finally got the hang of it, but the arm part of the mitts is way too tight. Totally not the pattern’s fault!! It had just been a really long time since I had knitted colorwork in fingering weight yarn at such a tight gauge. The second mitt was a good size! Apparently practice makes perfect. Who knew?
