16th of Jan:
Started the swatch. I think I should do something between the two smallest sizes.
20th of Jan:
My gauge is tiny bit looser and larger in width than it is said in the pattern. In height it matches it, great! I’ll go for the smallest size.
20cm of the first sleeve done. I love the yarn and the pattern. I wish I had learned to use the magic loop technique, don’t like having too many sts on one dpn. Plus, they feel heavy already!
24th of Jan:
First sleeve finished. I love how quickly it came, once I had time for it.
I also studied how to use the magic loop technique, but after I realised how to do it, I saw that my circular isn’t long enough. So dpns it is.
30th of Jan:
Started the body.
22nd of Feb:
I’ve got a different stitch marker in the beginning of the row, so it’s easy to spot when a new row starts.
Serious troubles with the lace and the raglan decreases. Got to do them again. :(
23rd of Feb:
Started the raglan part again, and now it seems good. I even had time to notice how wonderful the yarn is to knit. :)
29th of Feb:
I can’t believe I’m here. Raglan decreases finished, collar started. Even the wrap & turn rows are done and they’re fine.
I have to admit that tthe decreases in the sleeves and in the body didn’t go exactly as in the book, but I ended up with neat lace chart and 72 stitches, which I was supposed to. So, yay me!
9th of Mar:
Uploaded some pics, taken in a hurry.
