Notes

I learned a lot from my first Angus. This time I used as many dpns as needed, (it was a good thing I have more than one set of size 1s) for the decreases between his stuffed, rounded body as well as the top of his head and also pulled the yarn up tight between the stitches as needed. They needed a lot. This took care of the laddering that occurred with the first one.

I also knit an extra long I-cord to do the double top knot for Rob to be able to tie it properly, then it was too long and had to be tinked back. I had knit it with decreases so it was tapered as it got longer and that had to be re-knit too. Eeek. He has standard 7.5 mm safety eyes. He also has 10 extra rows in his arms and legs.

My husband James named him “Beamer” as he thought he looked like an alien ready to be beamed up.
