I’ve been fussing with the squares. Trying to get the yarn and crochet hook size. I have also played with the design with Tunisian. I have made several different charts. In the end I will stick with the Frankie’s original design.

I was drawn to the pattern because it reminds me of stain glass. I am attempting to make a “granny square” coat, but with these as squares. Most of my playing is involved sizes and design. I really won’t know till I get a few of these squares completed and start measuring.

Originally crocheted the band around the sweater. I didn’t like it. It was too flimsy and I didn’t like how it looked. I have switched to knitting the bands in garter stitch. About 2” width. It gives a nice neat finished look to

I will be adding black frog closures along the front.
