These lil sox were knit during our annual summer Lord of the Rings marathon at the request of my 2.5 y/o who loves pink (no she didn’t watch the movies). I finished them about 1/2 way through disk 2 of Two Towers, but then had to tink back and make the bind off stretchier to accommodate chunky calves.

knit 2 @ time, toe up roughly using knit picks “Two at Once, Toe Up, Magic Loop Socks Pattern”, heel flap.

loved the yarn. loved getting to a new color.

sadly the legs of the socks may be a bit snug come cooler weather. we’ll see. the recipient loves them and has worn them almost nonstop despite the hot as blazes weather.
