Notes

Working through my stash and I couldn’t find anything better than socks for this yarn. Whatever, it’ll be cute as hell.

10-29-2019

Knitted 60 rounds after the toe and added two stitches on the next round and on round 66 to accommodate my fat instep.

Fish Kiss Lips Heel after round 73.

11-05-2019

Decreased away the extra instep stitches on rounds 7 and 10 after the heel.

I increased two stitches on rounds 25 and 30 of the leg.

I did 89 rounds on the leg before I started the cuff with two colour repeats left.

Ten round cuff with bind off left me a gumball sized ball and no real fear of yarn chicken. Yay! And sock two has been toed!

On this second sock, I added one more set of increases for my instep on round 72 (so 60, 66, 72) and decreased them back on rounds 4, 7, and 10 of the leg. I also moved the increase on round 25 to round 50 and added another at 70 (so 30, 50, 70). I’ll check and see which I like better. The first sock has the greyish-purple toe and the second sock has the speckled pinky-purple toe.

I forgot adding the extra increase in the leg meant that 2x2 rib wouldn’t be even so next time, I’ll do 1x1.
