Notes

Combining this project’s totals with the one that came back in the mail, ruined. Also going to try vertically stranded colourwork (four stripes instead of three so I can use two long strands per mitt) since I didn’t love the way the pattern instructions for the colourwork turned out. I added an extra knit stitch to the colour section to accommodate the fourth stripe so I actually cast on 50.

I did 30 rounds before the thumb shaping and 10 for the palm; 2 rounds to start back after putting the thumb on hold. I am so behind. I must knit like the wind to get these out next Monday.

Finished the thumb with 15 rounds and cast on the second mitt. I’m definitely going to be late but hopefully not terribly.
