The first hat I knit for Brian was helpfully washed by his roommate, and no longer flops the way he likes. This hat flops quite well! I used stash yarn, a variety of Cascase 220 heathers and solids and a bit of Lion Brand Wool Ease, not sure of names of any of the colors. I also changed up the pattern stitches a bit, as I do every time I make another of these hats. Another thing I changed was I used US 6 needles for the body of the hat, and US 5 for the brim, allowing for a better fitting hat. I also made the tassels a bit less full, so they weigh less and will not pull on the hat.
