I needed one more gift for my oldest son this past christmas. I decided to make him a hat, as he loves when I make him hats and scarves, and his last girlfriend had kept quite a few of his earlier hats. He lives in Syracuse and uses the bus to get around, so I knew he needed something warm and solid to block the nasty winter wind.

Rec loves color and pattern, so I decided to go a little nuts with fair isle knitting, and had a blast.
