I made this shawl from a sweater I bought at the Goodwill store and unraveled it. Lace weight yarn. I do that all the time. The sweater was the solid brown that you see but I thought it needed a little color so I died some of the yarn black speckled and knitted the remainder of the shawl with that. It is feathery light and soft. Lacey and feminine and feels so good around my neck. This is a BEAUTIFUL pattern and easy to make.
