Started on Halloween weekend, 2006, and finished the afternoon of Christmas Eve, 2006.

I used 10 skeins to knit the shawl, and then most of 1 1/2 balls so I could fussy-cut the fringe. The fringe on the ends was all cut 30” long and placed so the colors fade. 3 strands of yarn was looped through every other stitch.

Once blocked, it stretched A LOT, but I was under pressure to get it blocked and dried so I could officially give it to her completed at the Christmas Party for her quilting friends. It was a big hit.
