Most of my mixed media art works are about imperfection, and letting things happen.

Lots of the materials I use for these mixed media art works are made with love for re-use, recycle, and repurpose - apart from the paper, and acrylic or watercolor paint. Those are mostly new.

For instance with the green art work with the v-shapes (V is for Venerable): an empty frame with fiber glass wall paper painted grey using leftover interior paint, likewise the roving and yarn, ribbons from when shirts were on hangers when you buy these new.
The acrylic paint was applied using baking sheet paper, after my partner used it to make me a lovely, gluten free bread!
V is for Venerable was was inspired by thrum knitting and is about freedom.
