Very happy knitting all of these wise, little owls. And indeed a wee bit obsessive, let me admit. And still making more. Happily, I can tell you.

What also makes me very happy is the fact that I’m reusing the buttons, all of those come from shirts, cardigans, you name it. I am a big fan of reuse, recycle and repurpose. With that in mind I checked my partner’s button-down shirts, but they live to see another day: those were not buttons with two holes ;-)

Some of the wise little owls have been turned into little art works as you can see with the four of them in two boxes. The one on the right in that pic with the trees for background was the first. The one on the left against a black and white background is my current favorite.
