I love this pattern! I had a hard time finding a realistic looking bear pattern to match a larger stuffed toy. This is perfect!

I really enjoyed knitting up the pattern; it reminded me of EZ in the use of garter stitch and short rows, much like the Christmas Fiddle Faddle from Knitters’ Almanac.

I didn’t felt this pattern, so I used a couple sizes smaller needle than I normally would. I love how it turned out and how the short row shaping in garter really gives the toy definition.
