Made for Susan Claudino’s first group/Halloween swap. I made Bonnie wee Mouse with 2 strands of Knit Picks Palette held together, one was the original Alfalfa green, the other I over-dyed with some different greens to add just a little tonal depth.

My green Halloween mouse then wanted to dress up as Minnie Mouse; so as not to frighten her recipient; so I knit her the classic Minnie gloves with little thumbs, and made her a classic red & white polkadot dress and bow and finished the look by making her a classic Disneyland mouse ears cap that covered her own ears.

I embroidered a tiny Mickey Mouse trick or treat bag; though I confess I didn’t do a very good job on that; and gave her a few candies to enjoy during her trip, with strict instructions not to eat the recipient’s candy, travelling in the next bag! craftyknitter7 reports only a few empty wrappers in the box.

I can’t remember if I used 3.5 or 3.75mm needles, but whichever it was, I should have gone down one further for neater, tighter stitching, particularly on her face.
