I knitted all stitches back and forth instead of chart 1 & 2. Increased as it says in the pattern, until I had 219 sts. Then I knitted chart 3 four times. (Starting with the transition rows!)
I think it worked out well. Got this idea when I knitted my first Clothilde, and had to try this idea out straight away.

The color is light. Like the skein on the last picture!
