August 8/2010 One sleeve down, one to go!

August 7/2010 Finished the body tonight! Blocked it and tried it on before knitting the sleeve pieces. I love it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Can’t eat chocolate these days, so I might as well wear something that reminds me of chocolately goodness.

Despite being linen, which tires my hands I can’t seem to put this down after FINALLY getting started in earnest.

It’s been waylaid by broken needles, other projects and food poisoning. I am more than halfway through the body and just added the second skein. Hoping I did the right thing by sticking with the size 41.75”. When I first selected this back in June it would have given me 1.5” negative ease. Now it’s about 3/4” of positive ease (I won’t complain about losing weight though).

I wanted more “tunic” than tight lace tee, so it should be fine. I think blocking will make or break it.
