1 Feb 2024: Started in Nov with US9s but the fabric was too floppy for a blanket that will get hard use. Frogged it and set it aside for other projects. Cast on again with US8s today. I will use a provisional cast on to keep the stitches live for adding on the border.

22 Aug 2025: Knitting and I-cord edging done.

Provisional cast-ons worked well for picking up the stitches for the edging. There was a hiccup in the last row when I thought I was done. Instead I had messed up a join in the first square and shorted a square. After ripping out the wrong square and insert-knitting a 5th square. Grafting it to the 3rd square took some time because it wasn’t a typical garter join.
