4 July 2018: I could not resist the temptation to cast on another Latticino. I have only 3 skeins of the Katia CC, and definitely want to use all of it in this project. Because I have only half the amount needed, I am experimenting by using it every third garter ridge. When I finish the first ball of it, I will see how far along I am in the shawl and perhaps use it every row for a bit.

As stated in the pattern, the stitch is accommodating differences in the yarn weights. The Katia is labeled as an Aran, but the tube construction makes it less firm than the LPW. The difference can be felt in the fabric, adding an interesting texture, but it is not visible.

20 July 2020: Finished knitting after multiple frogs over the past 2 years because of silly mistakes along the way. It will wait for blocking until I return home.
