I am the resident knitter for Fabric.com and made this in conjunction with a book review for Rowan the Organic Cotton Collection. That said, I loved this pattern. it was a really fun knit and fast too. It took ma about 3 hours. My modifications were that I didn’t crochet anything since I didn’t have a hook in the correct size. I used i-cord for the legs. I put a bow on top instead of a comb. I also picked up 16 stitches to knit on the bas instead of knitting it separate and then sewing it all on. I was able to use most of my yarn tails for the finishing. My daughter is 15 mo and really loves this little guy. He fit in her hand so she can toddle around with home and he is still soft. The yarn was a dream to work with!
