Notes

I wanted to make a case for my mp3 player and headphones, because just dumping it in my purse is not a good idea. I will be using this mp3 player for my Audible books!

I held the multi colored sock yarn and black yarn together. Came out better then I expected! Both yarns were leftover scraps from other projects.

I crocheted 25 chain and then worked back and forth in single crochet.

I folded the then long rectangle in half, when it covered the mp3 player and headphones laying flat.

I worked a few more rows, to fold over the top and once it reached over the top (when it was stuffed with the items, sides pinned) I worked 4 more rows of single crochet.

I then decreased one on each end till I got to around 20 chains/stitches. I did a chain of 4 and skipped one middle single crochet stitch to create the button hole. I then went back the last row with a slip stitch to make the edge and button hold more stable.

Sewed the sides closed and ends into the work. Sewed on a lovely button and ta-da!~ Case in a day!
