Notes

Did a Crochet Cast On for 35 sts, over a US 5 needle.

Did 2 stripes (4 rows total, including the cast on… so technically cast on row + 3 more rows - so two colors worth) in the US 5 needle. (to prevent the ends of scarf to flair with the 1 by 1 ribbing.

Used another tip from someone else saying:
“Hold your new color strand to the right of the old strand (closest to the edge) when changing colors. Don’t worry if it looks messed up at first… When you bring up the next strand it fixes it.”

Along with the slip stitch edge, which I do every row, being Slip the first stitch purl wise with the yarn held in front and then do pattern till last stitch and Knit it. Also keep edge slipped stitches loose so they are not tight in the end product.

Will end scarf edge with 2 stripes in using the US 5 needle, to repeat the same process as beginning of scarf.

Bind off with a US 8 needle while knitting knit stiches and purling the purl stitches during bind off.
