I am designing a rainbow of knitted stitches for new babies who will be arriving (because of so much time spent indoors).

Today I finally got started!

FINISHED!! And photographed. Getting ready to send the pattern off for tech editing.

With so many babies coming in the months ahead I thought it would be fun to design a special baby blanket using what was/is a symbol of hope and better days ahead, the rainbow.
Babies love primary colours and will love to be wrapped up in such a happy blanket. Also perfect for sitting on with all their toys and playing baby games.
But really this blanket isn’t just for babies. It can be a wonderful lap blanket for anyone who loves rainbow colours and needs a happy warm cuddle blanket. We are never too old to enjoy that feeling.

This pattern is now in testing and will be released late summer 2020.
