Notes

I finished and not sure what I did wrong but it could fit a child, surely not a grown person. I wonder if it is the way I did the floats on the inside. This was my very first hat and very first color changes following pattern and chart.

I learned a lot from the experience and hope to make one that will fit adult next time.

I used Patons Classic Wool Worsted, it is 100% wool. I am using Seafoam #77219 for the background, Jade Heather 77208 for the waves in the pattern, and Peacock #00218 for the Crabs.

Update August 2, 2016
I ‪‎knit‬ the ‪‎crabber‬ ‪cap‬ last year but my floats were so tight I thought it was a lost cause until a couple days ago it dawned on me that I hadn’t ‪wet-finished‬ or ‪blocked‬ it, so I did and then pulled it over head sized form and now it is wearable! ‪I’m so happy!‬ I know now to spread my floats better than I did, I know this is stretched in places but it’s my first attempt at anything like this.
