Although I made this to be a dishcloth, I found that it makes a perfect hot pad instead! The loop is great when using as a hot pad, I hang it from handle on cabinet door by oven. I used size 3 US needles and the Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloth pattern. I used 4 ply worsted cotton Ombres, Oasis colorway, by Peaches & Creme.

This is my very first dish cloth (hot pad) that I ever knitted. I love the pattern Grandmother’s Favorite Dish Cloth! It is so simple yet elegant with the the eyelets along the edge.
