My class sample for the “Design it, Knit it, Ravel it” class at the John C. Campbell Folk School, May 18th- 24th 2014.

It fits beautifully! Top down, my own charts, made using the good ol’ EZ percentage system.

Gauge: 4 sts/in

Body sts: 144

CO 92 sts
k 5 rnds plain
-1st inc rnd: add 46 sts (138 total)
k 2 rnds plain
-2nd inc rnd: add another 46 sts (184 total)
Work first chart (cherries)
-3rd inc rnd: add 20 sts (204 total)
Work main chart (snowflakes)

Yoke = 204 sts
Body = 144 sts

armhole based on my arm msrmnt = 60 sts
- 12 for underarm

Work body on 144 sts. No shaping.
Sleeves:
Pick up 12 sts under each arm (14 initially to close gap, k2tog on either side to minimize holes). 58 total at bicep, dec down to 42 at wrist.

Neck:
picked up 72 across CO edge, worked 6 short rows in stockinette. Work 3 plain rnds. Cast off!
