Notes

I could tell I was going to run out of yarn - thus the modifications. I made the sleeves shorter and eliminated the hood. I also didn’t like the varigations in the yarn between the bright blue and the greenish shades so I overdyed it. I am much happier with the color now. One of the photos shows the ball of yarn used, next to the dyed sweater. It’s a pretty subtle change - just enough.

If I remember right, I also modified the cable section to include less purls between the cables so I could squeeze in another cable?

Not sure what I will think of the yarn long term. I have loved mad tosh’s yarns before, but when I wetblocked this it grew significantly and got really soft. I think if I would have used a smaller needle it wouldn’t stretch out as much and would maybe be a little more durable. I will update my thoughts on this after I have worn the sweater.

Update: I have worn the sweater a bit now, and the softness is wonderful and it appears to be holding it’s shape just fine.
