Notes

I changed the cable pattern to a braided one I wanted to try instead of the horseshoe cable.

I bought some charcoal sherpa fleece from an Etsy store based in Winnipeg to make the lining.

To make the lining I traced my knitted pieces onto some paper to make a pattern to trace on the fleece. I made the bottom piece a little bit thinner and shorter. Then I made the toe a little bit longer (to fold up) and wider (to make up for the height(?) of the foot.

After cutting the pattern out of the fleece, I sewed them together with black embroidery thread and sewed them into the slipper.

I did all of this after I completely finished the knitted part. I think if I make this pattern again, I would sew the lining on before I attach the toe part.
